This workshop is an overview of the spectrum of Autism, focusing specifically on what previously was known as Asperger's Syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder characterized by normal or above ranges in intellectual capability, but having challenges around abstract language, social cognition, and restricted interests and rigid behaviors. An overview of this disorder will be provided as well as practical tools and strategies that address executive function, social perspective taking, transition to puberty, and anxiety management.

Who Should Attend: parents and family members who have a child 12 and older with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, including Asperger’s Disorder; professionals.
